Robust economy - Vietnam is the second fastest growing economy in Asia, behind China. As Vietnam gradually opens its economy according to WTO commitments, exciting prospects are emerging for business investments in Vietnam.

Rising retail growth - Vietnam has been experiencing rapid retail growth. With 87 million consumers and retail sales up 20 per cent year on year, there are increasing opportunities for companies to get their products on Vietnamese shelves.

Rapid export growth - Vietnam is one of the major exporters of footwear and garments. The country has become an effective production base with low labour costs. In 2007, Vietnam produced more shoes for Nike than any other country.
